The Library Foundation
The Library today provides critical support for job-seekers, business owners, English language learners, families with young children, students and seniors.
The Library Foundation builds private support and public visibility, making our library and community stronger.
Every day, thousands of people enjoy the resources of the library. Demand for books, DVDs, computers, training and programs for all ages is soaring.
Last year, over 13 million items were checked out to 640,000 active library card holders. Over 2.3 million public computer sessions were logged and 400,000 people attended programs and trainings.
In this time of high demand, your gift will make the Library more relevant and ready to provide access to the materials people and businesses need to succeed.
Because Foundation gifts leverage the Library's resources and community reach, the return on your investment is significant, as are the community impacts related to education, employment, entertainment and economic vitality.
Get involved! The Library Foundation invites the engagement of donors, volunteers and library champions who can help us strategically expand resources at a time when people need them most.
Your gifts are making great things happen. Check out the Foundation's new 2013 Priority Projects campaign to see how we are contributing to our community's recovery.
